Supply Chain Management is managing the network of businesses that are involved in the supply chain. Supply chain management covers storage of materials, inventory, and the finished goods. Supply Chain Strategies are the critical backbone to Business Organizations today.

History
It was started in 1940’s. In 1966, McDonald’s was listed on the New York Stock Exchange. In June 1967, McDonald’s open first restaurant outside U.S in Canada. In 1996, McDonald’s entered India in a joint venture. In 1996, first restaurant open in India, at Basant Lok, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi. Approx 75% of menu available in McDonald’s in India according to their Indian choice. McDonald’s has major tie-ups with various companies as their co-branding strategy, e.g., Coco-cola – Barbie – Cadbury – Hotwheels.
