By Dave Lewis, Class of 2016
“You’ve got to find the program that’s the right fit for you.”I heard that countless times when I was preparing my applications for b-school.
*
Even though I attended admissions events, and even visited campus, I knew I needed to have a few more one-on-one conversations.*I found myself wondering, “how do I figure out which school may be right for me?”
I wish I could give you a formula or app that answers that question for you. But I think the real answer is: it’s a bit different for everyone. You’ll know it when you find it, if you put effort into getting to know a school, its people, and overall culture.*Prior to Booth, I was an officer in the US Army, then worked for an e-commerce startup. After I graduate in June, I’ll be staying in Chicago to work as a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. Personally, I’ve found a great ‘fit’ with Booth’s pay-it-forward culture, emphasis on intellectual curiosity, and tight-knit community of diverse, inspiring people that love to work hard and also have a ton of fun.
to get in touch with other Boothies and really get to know our school… I think you just might find that it’s a great fit for you!
