The yoga posture Called asanas is essential in the practice of yoga. In ancient texts, they are described as "stable and pleasant"; it is practically immobility positions without any effort, by which we can forget about our own body. By focusing on working postures and deep breathing (“pranayama ", work on breathing), we can calm the mind and invigorate the body. There are a multitude of postures, from the simplest to the most complex one. All of them follow a hierarchy; there is a precise connection between them, they are not isolated. Different Schools of Yoga

Yoga has evolved in various directions. It has 8 main branches, divided into 3 large "families": the dynamic yoga, yoga and relaxation and spiritual yoga. The hatha yoga, yoga or physical discipline, is a school that is the most common in the West. All these schools share a "base". Consciousness first, as masters have highlighted the great differences between Western disciplines and yoga is introversion. In yoga, you can notice the sensations of the body from the inside of it rather than the outside, like looking in the mirror of the gym for example. This observation can identify our capabilities, and our limitations. We realize what is harmful to our bodies, and so we must adopt without coercion, a better lifestyle. Yoga is associated with a specific diet, with positive thinking and balance in everything we approach in our life. If you decide to attend yoga courses it means that you are interested indeed in your spiritual evolution. Never try to do anything related to yoga on your own, because you can fail. This is an approach that requires a spiritual guide at least at the beginning. These are the Yoga Posture animations to discover more about the different Poses in the following sections:
