Arranged or Love marriage?

Arranged marriages make up vastly the higher percentage in human history but have, largely in the last century, become unusual and morally questioned in the Western world.

Now, things have changed a lot. The society is ready to accept Love marriages as well.

What do this generally personally prefer? And why?

what has the society gotta do here !! i knw it has got an impact over decision making not for the ones getting married bt the ones deciding and taking the fianl decision i mean the elders in the family.......they should start accepting love marriages without the feeling of awe and something wrongly done or similar such feelings ...:tea:

Society, by which I mean the people around you. Sometimes family do think a lot what others around you think about the marriage if it from other religions. The situation/trend is definitely changing now.

The thing you have said is still constant and wont change seems like an illusion which shows the change which isnt real at all

My viewpoint is that love marriage and arrange marriage are same in every manner with a single distinction that in love marriage the couple trust each other and ready to spend their life by knowing all the positive and negative things of each other, and in another situation the couple are introduced by the two family and then they try to do this for a better married life and future. Any couple can do for love marriage if they think they are strongly trusting and committed to each other.
