Are indians less quality concious?

well friends,i do agree with the topic that the Indians are less quality conscious and this is because of Indian market.A big part of the Indian market consists of basically middle class and lower middle class.so the people belong to this category will spend according to their pocket.if they will go for branded or quality products their expenditure will be more than the income. And another thing is that huge population of our country.It also affects the consumption of quality products.We can take the example of a family with 4 children and a family with 2 children.though the income of both parents are same but the distribution per child will vary because of their numbers in both the family. Now a days India is manufacturing some quality products.but still the products which are imported have more qualitative value.As they are imported the costs will be definitely more which is only affordable by a certain class in our society.
Hence i feel Indians are less quality conscious.

Yes, somewhere you are right. But the main reason of poor quality is unorganized market structure and liberal constitution terms for product and services.
 
Indians are not less quality conscious, they just want to make most of what ever they have. That is why they bargain at shops,cause for the amount of money they have they want to make the fullest.
 
Well I agree sunanda Indians are Less Quality conscious....

Coz we Indians Believes & Want "CHEAP N BEST"

May be coz large Chunk of market Consist of middle class people....
 
Yes I believe that people of India are not quality conscious. This may not be because of lack of money or financial condition but as a result of insufficient awareness. The common man need to take a look at his money before buy something. We are the adjustable people and have learned to adjust with everything.
