Are Ethics just Business Pretence?

Ethics basically are the unwritten rules of conduct in any walk of like.it really depends upon what philosophy your organisation believes in. for ex. tata group is always been associated with doing the things ethically, whereas what Satyam did was completely unethical. and I truly believe the true way to succeed in business is to do the things ethically.

Any business runs by using the stability of customers on their product or service. A businessman can generate revenue with unethical policies of their business but only for a short while. By doing this he loss the confidence of customers which leads to an enormous damage to their business. And finally people buy the product or service of those organizations on which they have faith in regarding their goods and services whether it might be some expensive to them.
