The admission for the B Tech course in Annamalai University is done on the basis of a written entrance test. The duration of the test will be of two hours. The test consists of objective type question format with 120 questions. Each question in the question paper includes four options and of those choices is a right answer. Those who mark the correct answer in the OMR answer sheet will get one mark and one mark from the total mark is reduced for the wrong answers.

The candidates who have completed the Higher Secondary Examination from any recognized board in Tamil Nadu or equivalent Board can apply for the test. The candidates who are going to appear for their higher Secondary Examination or other qualifying exam can also apply for the test. The candidate must be an Indian Citizen and a native of Tamil Nadu state. Those who satisfy all this eligibility criteria can apply for the test.
How to Apply?
The application form for the Engineering Entrance exam in Annamalai University is available from the Annamalai University itself. The candidates have to submit the application cost for obtaining the application form. The application form is also available in the website. Those who wish to get it can download it from the website and use it. They have to send the demand draft of the application fee with the filled form.
How to fill the Form?
Before filling the application form the candidates have to check the website or the information booklet for the procedure for filling the form. The most important thing the candidates have to take concern is that the form should be filled without any mistakes. The photograph of the candidates affixed in the form must be recent and clear. The signature of the candidates must be put in the space provided for that. The address, contact number and email id of the candidates must be filled correctly. The completely filled form must be posted to the University office before the final date for that.
