All Logos are Not Discovered by The Owners , But few by The Users Themselves

Are big and legendary logos are discovered by great people in market, it is not the case always specially in case of twitter. Here is the following fact as far as twitter logo is concerned. The bird on Twitter’s home page, familiar to millions, is small, cute and fun, and implies communication and anticipation.
T witter is a website, owned and operated by Twitter Inc., which offers a social networking and microblogging service, enabling its users to send and read messages called tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the user's profile page. Tweets are publicly visible by default, however senders can restrict message delivery to their friends list. Users may subscribe to other users' tweets—this is known as following and subscribers are known as followers.
All users can send and receive tweets via the Twitter website, compatible external applications (such as for smartphones), or by Short Message Service (SMS) available in certain countries. While the service is free, accessing it through SMS may incur phone service provider fees. The website is based in San Francisco, California. Twitter also has servers and offices in San Antonio, Texas and Boston, Massachusetts.
Since its creation in March 2006 and its launch in July 2006 by Jack Dorsey, Twitter has gained popularity worldwide and currently has more than 175 million users. It is estimated that Twitter has 190 million users, generating 65 million tweets a day and handling over 800,000 search queries per day. It is sometimes described as the "SMS of the Internet."
The inspiration for the iconic blue bird that's come to represent San Francisco-based Twitter Inc. didn't come from the company's founders, or even a high-priced marketing firm. It came from the users. Soon after the 2006 launch of the micro-blogging site, people started referring to their individual messages as "tweets."
This is an amazing story to be heard by twitter of its logo being decided and designed by users themselves; the idea they got from users has helped them a lot and we all quite aware of. Logos communicate the purpose of business and the value that brand represents. A good logo is something that gets recognized instantly and to which people can easily relate. However the success or failure of business isn’t dependent on how the logo is famous or successful in the market, hence a bad logo doesn’t mean that the business will fail. Anyways there are numerous ways to develop a logo but it is necessary that it’s unique and accurately represents the business.
The twitter doesn’t have exclusive copyright ownership of the image and the original design is still available on iStockphoto for anyone to purchase.
