Patna: Railway Minister Lalu Prasad has mastered the art of remaining in news. This time, it's his bull Nandani which has people gaping.
Nandani was gifted to Lalu by NT Ramo Rao's daughter Pundeshwari and the animal's been enjoying a star status from the moment it arrived in Patna.
Even the railway minister is enthralled by his new pet. "This is a rare breed. Andhra Pradesh state minister gave it to me. It's one of a kind in the entire country," says Lalu.
The new star is being fed fruits and policemen have been deputed to make sure onlookers don't cause any trouble. "I've never seen such a beautiful bull in my life. I've been posted here to look after it," says Randhir Prasad, a constable of Bihar Police.
Lalu and his party have lost power in Bihar. But something or the other always keeps him in news.
