Primary Advertising- Advertising for a product class and not a known brand. E.g. salt, soap, tea, oil etc.
Selective Advertising- Advertising that creates a demand for a product with a specific name i.e.branded goods
Direct Action Advertising- When you need something urgently, you buy it immediately.
Delayed Response Advertising- You do not require it today, but you will need it some time in the future; e.g. you see an ad of a car today but do not buy it immediately. You may take some time to decide.
Institutional Advertising- Advertising that promotes the name of a company and projects the mission of the company.E.g. Hindustan Lever that shows its logo at the end of its ad to show that it is a product of the company.
