Its going to be really a fantastic rac.....

New Champion beats Old Champion....

The defending champion Fernando Alonso won the Bahrain Grand Prix, with the old champion and my favourite Michael Shumacher finishing a close second. Both the drivers were almost locked up with each other virtually for the last 8 laps. The turning point (according to me) was when Alonso was coming out of his 2nd pit stop and he just managed to scrap through ahead of Shumi who was charging towards him. Well ultimately well done Alonso but, feel bad for Shumi, he could have just went ahead. Shumi, nevertheless finished on the podium after a long time.....

But what an absolutely fantastic race by KIMI RAIKKONEN. He finished 3rd after starting last on the grid. He inpressed me a lot....

Following are the results :-

Pos No Driver Team Laps Time/Retired Grid Points

1 1 Fernando Alonso Renault 57 Winner 4 10

2 5 Michael Schumacher Ferrari 57 +1.2 secs 1 8

3 3 Kimi Räikkönen McLaren-Mercedes 57 +19.3 secs 22 6

6 9 Mark Webber Williams-Cosworth 57 +41.9 secs 7 3

7 10 Nico Rosberg Williams-Cosworth 57 +63.0 secs 12 2

8 15 Christian Klien RBR-Ferrari 57 +66.7 secs 8 1

9 6 Felipe Massa Ferrari 57 +69.9 secs 2

What an awful drive by El Gordo........and even motormouth Buttmunch.

It's obvious that the former is a clear waste of space, while the latter is nothing but full of wind (and other unpleasant things, which you will no doubt understand if you rack your brain a bit).
