4G phones have alredy been released by HTC and Apple and 4g is already running many conutries. 4G gives more speed than 3G and more advanced.

When do u expect that 4g services will start in India?
 
4G mobile technology is the name given to the next generation of mobile devices such as cell phones. It became available from at least one provider in several parts of the US in 2009. There is not yet an agreed industry standard for what constitutes 4G mobile, so for now it is merely a marketing term.
 
We expect it as soon as possible, but it depends on our government when would they allow this technology to be acquainted in India.
 
4G will be offering speeds in the Gigabytes, and multicarrier transmission. Obviously the advantages are too many but it will be haste if we are unable to reap complete benefit of the 3G services first. We are even now suspicious of the success of 3G.
 
Authority of Inia's (TRAI) seeking views of the Industry on 4G Mobile Services and now according to a report, Tata Teleservices strongly supports the TRAI to phase out the process for introducing 4G mobile technology in India. 3G is already an old technology launched way back in 2001 and we are late by 9 years already. Also, 23 international operators will launch the 4G service globally this year. And if India gives in too, it will only help us match advanced countries in terms of high internet speeds.
 
It is great if tata is pitching in TRAI to introduce the technology through it may be that it is costly but this will improve the speed of the communication very fast. The technology even if used by the limited persons they will aid in the growth of the industry. Moreover it will put us at par with the developed countries so there is no harm in it, one factor I will add that it may result in the decrease in revenue as the govt has recently auctioned for 3 g technology.
