AS WE KNOW GUYS 3 IDIOTS BREKING ALL THE RECORDS SET BY ANY OF INDIAN MOVIE SIMILARLY LIKE THE BOOK OF CHETAN BHAGAT 5 POINT SOMEONE NOW AMIR AND THE DIRECTOR REFUSED ALL THE CLAIMS MADE BY CHETAN BHAGAT WE ALL KNW THAT THIS MOVIE IS MORE SO EVER BASED ON THIS IST BOOK ATLEAST THEY SHUD GV HIM CREDITIBILITY..........AND SOME RECOGNITION.SO WHATS UR OPINON GUYS WHO IS CORRECT ?????????????????
 
i saw the movie as well as read the book story line is bit different but characters have been copied and we can say that plot is the same but i dnt knw why amir and vidhu not ready to gv credit to chetan bhagat in order to get publicity by both of the sides .....i think flm makers shud gv bit credit .They mentioned his name at last within the credit below the assistant cameraman and it was like that so that nobody would like to see it .............so guys as amir gv credit to the tamil ghajini he can also do the same with the chetan
 
i think ur right dude may be becoz of his perfectionist he may be trying to do this we cant say lets c what happen.....
 
ACTUALLY THE CONTROVERSY IS ON HIS IST BOOK 5.SOMEONE THERE ARE NO ISSUES REGARDING THIS ,,,,,,FILM IS TOTALLY BASED ON THE NOVEL
 
Obviosly, its the media thats to be blamed, coz they like always are trying to get mileage out of a self created controversy. Chetan Bhagats comment wasnt as hard hitting or as emotional as was portrayed by the media and then their wiity instigation of the movie crew got more rude (as they want us to believe) comments out of them.
 
guys chetan passed out from the iit and iims he is surely not an easy duck to shoot he knws how to make money and get freee publicity whats wrong in that everyone is money crazy so he is doing rt and one thing more he is also emotionally attached with the his ist boook ...
 
Why dont they both sit and settle it amicably or go to court as there is a written agreement between them. both parties want to get mileage from the controversy
 
I think this ia a publicty stunt . Contraversy is is always free publicity. we all know any publicity is good publicity. I dont think any law suits will actually materialise though

hey recent news on the topic after this contaversy there is noticable increase in d sale of 5.someone so guys anything is possible it may be posiible that both sides creating fake controversy in order to increase the sale of both.............

In my opinion, it is clearly a case of deceiving somebody in a manner against all goods.I advice people to go first read the book " Five Point Someone" and then go watch the movie, you will find the similarity.
I think the script matches approx 70% of the original novel and no credit was given to the author Chetan Bhagat (except showing name in the last).
It seems an ugly spat between the veterans, and I hope this shouldn't get much longer for finding an amicable solution.

I would like to pass on only one message to all the related and concerned parties (copied from "3 idiots" heheheheh). and the message is "ALL IS WELL...".
on the serious node, if something is good and appreciable lets appreciate the work. So if we like either the novel or 3 IDIOTS or both, lets appreciate the same and njoy it.

Wish u every blasting and super lasting happy new year two 0 one 0 and hope we get such a good movies and or novel in the coming years. Cheers/Rosh
 
guys I believe, Chetan bhagat deserve some credit. Because the characters have been copied..So aamir must give some credit as he gave in Ghazini
 
NOW THE ARGUEMENTS BECOME VERY RUDE FROM BOTH THE SIDES AMIR SAYING VIDHU TO SUE THE CHETAN GUYS WHAT IS HAPPENING ???? HERE THEY R FETCHING MOST OF THE AIRTIME AND TRPs NOW ITS A TOLLALY MARKETING STARTEGY BY BOTH THE SIDE WHATS UR COMMENTSSS
 
I think the giving some one the credibility is entirely the decision of producers and directors. what matters is that the world recognizes the geniuses in all the three people.As far as Chetan Bhagat is concerned I thinkhe should stop briigng for the credit, the fact the main story line of 'three idoits' involves around three protagonists who are in similar situation as the three leads of the novel itself proves his credibility.
