I would prefer the voting age to remain at 18.Some may question the rationale behind this.There is a valid reason behind this.Psychologist around the world have studied humans and they feel that a man/woman becomes mature enough to take decisions only at the age of 18.So people will become knowledgeable enough to select their leader only at the age of 18.So,we will keep the age unchanged.

18... drs a difficulty choosing a career at the age of 16... who wants the 16 year olds to vote on influence by family members , friends, nieghbour hood or anyone or simply make a waste of their votes? It can also result in a misbehaviour for every child leading him to not vote later on when his vote is important or also there can be various other issues with such teenagers...!! I believe that the age ideally should be 21, as the person at this age generally aquires good political knowledge and also a decision making power to select the right candidate...
Voting in our country is jus another holiday or a joke or a means to earn for certain... voting with a thought of a beautiful country can change the lives of millions.
Think simple and rationale... just dont create doubts for the sake of it!

Politicians will represent their interests if youth can vote.
Politicians represent various constituencies; currently young people are no one's constituency. Why should politicians care about the needs and wishes of youth when they have no ability to vote for or against them? Lowering the voting age will give politicians a real reason to respect the desires of young people.
