The PGDBM at DIMT is a natural extension & consolidation of the Institute’s experience, management education research & consultancy. It was taken up with a view to expand the range of activities and also to cater the growing demand for professionally qualified young managers.
The Objectives of the Course are;
- To groom managers, the vision of the programme is to develop world-class professionals with strong value systems.
- To enable students to develop a global perspective & integrate the same with India.
- To understand the social, economic, political, technological & ecological environment of modern society & their characteristic values.
- To inculcate values of integrity, justice, fairness & facilitate lateral thinking.
- To train students to be result-oriented by being good on both strategy formulation as well as its successful implementation.
- To develop a global mind-set so that the future managers can address the challenges of global competition.
- To help students become effective leaders, who can achieve results to have he potential to transform organisations.
The programme is challenging, the curriculum is rigorous & the selection procedure highly competitive. As a result, DIMT seeks candidates whose abilities, skills & personality indicate strong potential for success in the future.
Scholarship:
There are five merit scholarships of Rs.5, 000/- each available for the top five students at the end of the second year.
Placements:
On successful completion of the Programme, Institute aims to provide full support to the students in their suitable placement. Institute’s Corporate Resource Cell is led by a Faculty member as a coordinator & supported by our corporate network.

In addition to the above list of elective courses, new courses may be offered subject to the required number of minimum students as well as the availability of faculty resource.

ADBM (Advance Diploma in Business Management)
The role of the manager in the 21st century is changing rapidly. The Advanced Diploma in Business Management (ADBM) will prepare students for any new challenges ahead by teaching you strong theoretical & practical skills for the management of people & organisations.
