More than 50,000 clerical and 7,000 PO posts to be filled up in 2014
Bank, Staff Selection Commission, LIC and other organisations are enticing the job-seekers with their recruitment notifications. Written tests are going to be conducted for Degree, Engineering and PG holders to fill up these posts, continuously every month right from June this year to February next year. Mainly, Bank recruitment tests are in the offing. SBI and SBI affiliated Banks and IBPS are going to conduct the tests to fill up more than 50,000 posts in Clerical cadre and 7,000 posts in Probationary Officer cadre. Experts feel that almost the same syllabus for all these examinations is an advantage in favour to the candidates. Candidates with correct planning and its execution in the preparation for the tests, can get the jobs with ease. In view of the inevitable delay in recruitment to State Government posts, a little bit effort would fetch them these jobs.

State Bank of India is going to conduct the written test to fill up 1837 PO posts in June. Also a notification is currently released for filling up of 5092 Clerical posts (https://www.sbi.co.in/webfiles/uploads/files/1400852958172_SBI_RECRUITMENT_OF_ASSISTANTS_CLERICAL_CADRE.pdf). SBI has filled up more than 20,000 Clerical posts during the years 2010 and 2012. SBI affiliated Banks also are going to release the notifications for recruitment of Clerical and PO posts during this year itself. IBPS has already been making arrangements for conducing recruitment examinations from September to December this year to the Clerical, PO and Specialist Officers (SO) cadres. There is possibility of conducting written examination by LIC of India in November for recruitment to the cadres of Assistant Administrative Officer. Written Test for the post of Assistant Development Officer also may be conducted by them in January.
Indications are there that Reserve Bank of India may conduct test for Assistant Grade – B Officer post in August.
Also, Staff Selection Commission will conduct written tests in October and November for recruitment of Higher Secondary Level Multi-tasking Staff. The Combined Graduate Level Exam proposed to be conducted by Staff Selection Commission in 2013 has been postponed and it is likely to be conducted before the end of this year. Staff Selection Commission is filling up about 5,000 Group – B related posts (http://www.sarkarinaukri-samachar.com/search/label/Staff%20Selection%20Commission). Around 20,000 Group – C posts are expected to be filled up by them. Candidates aged less than 25 years joining Group – B posts have bright promotion prospects and can expect to reach Commissioner status in their career.
