The government of West-Bengal didn't turn up to the letter, where it had been asked to disclose the number of files related to the fact that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose got shunted away from India.
Since 1947, the Congress Government had been claiming that in 1945 Netaji died in an Aircraft crash at Taipei in Taiwan, and they also claimed that the remains of the ashes of his body after funeral, has been kept at Renkoji temple in Japan. Many Committee had got framed up at that time to unfold the mystery behind Netaji getting shunted out of the Country, and the information that had been gathered by various groups and committees, made it more prominent that Netaji didn't pass away in any such Aircraft accident that Congress coming up with. Gathered evidences also proved that Netaji was alive even after that. Justice Manoj Mukherjee in his investigation tenure, proved through various evidences that 18th August, 1945 wasn't the end of Netaji.
On the last Monday, the Social group named 'The Open Platform for Netaji', which believes that Netaji was still alive after 1945, called for a Press Conference at Calcutta Press Club, and kept their demand to the Central Government and to the State Government as well, to disclose all the files related to the disappearance of Netaji, before public. The member of the group said that they might turn up to come forward with a movement on Declassification of the files. The people who were present at the press conference on Monday----- Chandra Kumar Bose and Avijit Roy from 'The Open Platform for Netaji'; Anuj Dhar from 'Mission Netaji'; Sayak Sen, Rabibrata Chatterjee, Avik Ghosh, Amit Swain, Souvanik Ghosh, Subhashish Chakraborty from 'Right to Recall Group' and Suvodeep Roy from 'Netaji Struggle Front'.
It had been demanded on the Press Conference that according to Right to Information act, one has got the complete right to know about the files related to Netaji. According to some source of information, it had been said that quite a lot of files comprising of 70,000 pages are with the Central Government, and out of those 70 files, 33 files had been marked classified. Which means those files can't be brought up before public in any condition.
Not only the Central Government, the government of West-Bengal is also having 64 files, which could put some light on the mystery behind Netaji's disappearance from the country. The government of West-Bengal not only withholding the files but also not paying any heed to the RTI application that had been sent. Anuj Dhar, who authored quite a lot of books on the Disappearance of Netaji, stated on the press conference that on 16th November 2013, they had sent a RTI application to the Government of West-Bengal, seeking to know about the secret files about Netaji and it had been 40 days and the Government kept their deaf ear turned to their application. Mr. Dhar who filed a complaint to the information commissioner during the day sought chief minister Miss Mamata Banerjee's intervention in the matter. There is no reason why state government should sit over the matter when even the Union government as well as the cabinet office of the British government and CIA have responded to his freedom of information request made in this note, he added. Now, the time has come to trace the thread of the history which had been lost after the World War II.
It is believed that the government is trying to withhold quite a few names who are done for the whole episode about how Netaji was shunted away from the country. Quite a few person who were pretty close to Netaji might have made a cool business by spreading the rumor of Netaji's death, and those people are pretty attached to Miss Mamata Banerjee as well. That's why Miss Banerjee didn't turn up to this, despite being a bengali.. From the very beginning Indian Government had been doing injustice with this case for their own sake and the Government of West-Bengal is also walking in the same shoe. But those who really love and respect Netaji very much from the bottom of their heart, won't ever give up. They doesn't believe in the fake news that Congress Government came up with on 1945. The Netaji lover will make a movement on it and are determined to take it to such a height, so that quite a few people who are trying to make the most out of the situation and are fooling people being pretentious, could be brought under the limelight and will get their faces unmasked.
The Indian Democratic Socialists has stated that they will again write to the Chief Minister, about the declassification of the file related to Netaji. Everyone wants to get the files of the Real Hero behind the Independence of our Mother India, Declassified.
