Mr. 'helpme' does this seem to be a joke to you? Someone takes up some genuine concern and u try to trash it with ur senseless humor.
Please learn to respect senior members.... and remember one thing... we don't need those members here who don't care for MP or prefer to let it die.
So in ur interest, i hope you wont repeat such mistake again and apologize immediately.

Well MP is certainly not dying, but is lacking good participation. Earlier we had this 1 post rule, changed it later to 10 posts minimum to ensure that users actively participate & not just download and leave.
The newbies must realise that if everyone start just taking, and not giving, then, there shall be only takers & no givers left on this forum. We moderators, try out level best to guide the newbies, but many times, i feel that some members just make the initial 10 posts & then they're never heard again.
Apart from this, many members just make one liners & thank you posts in 10 different threads.
The first thing a member should do is to see the different sections MP has and then post accordingly. The 10-post rule is just to make u acquainted with MP and nothing else.
There are so many sections like 'Introduce Yourself', Laughter section, articles section, Big Fight, General, etc.
Make a small intro for urself, or post some nice joke/forward. You can post some nice articles from the web or participate in various debates in Big Fight.... This itself should make atleast 30-40 posts and i am sure that everyone who registers on MP is capable of doing the above, rather than merely posting thanks everywhere.
It is understood that not everyone can contribute with files and attachments, so the responsibility can be limited to knowing more about the forum, browsing it... etc.
You can leave ur feedback in the SUGGESTIONS. In fact, there are so many areas on MP, like community games, etc. which will leave u totally addicted.
One thing i will like to add is for all the senior members to take this responsibility to guide every newbie. If u see them making just thanks everywhere, send them a PM guiding them how or where they should post.... it is just like an adult guiding a kid to come to the right place.
Let them know which sections are good for posting and then it will add to their mind that MP is not just about CAT & MBA.
These are some suggestions, i could think of.... If u have anything to add, be my guest... Suggestions and feedback are most welcome.

Is is possible to provide a link to the newbies guide to mp and your thread to the pictorial guide to newbies , by the mp robot when a newbie joins and recieves the 1st pm by Mp robot.I mean can you alter the welcome msg and add this links.I dont remember wether the links are already there in that 1st msg but if not can it be done.

I dont want to boast about how well acquainted me and bonddonraj are. For obvious reasons he has quoted how the MP family has helped him in the past. If he wants to be a part of this family or not is his own decision and I respect whatever his decision is.
You decide your own fate. You choose the path which you wish to walk on. My aim is to facilitate knowledge, free - fast - and for many. and I think I am doing a preety good job on it. There are 18 thousand members and not all interact for their own reasons. Its good to motivate them, but to say that MP is dying would be ludicrious. Look around and you will see the SEA of knowledge that the members of this MP family have raised.

Fine if this is the kind of answer i get from kartik"any one can come and go"--no attachment and the thread starter was harsh by starting this thread, then kindly i must say that i too donot want to be part of the family who cannot take and amend its loopholes. We can and always have done good in our life with and without mp if some member after being part of mp is said that its his or her wish to leave and be part of it , then really this is the cruel family of give and take relations. Plase donnot have emotions for it!! and we will not do any thing if you move away because you pointed away our own fault for our good

i feel u misunderstood kartik. See, MP as a family, is united... and no one can break its unity. It is true that anyone here has a right to speak his mind, because we don't restrict anyone's freedom, but the treatment meted out to the member will be in response to how it is taken by others...
We obviously value our members like bonddonraj and urself and as u can see, helpme was given time to apologize and when he failed to do so, cosequently he is banned.

But Issue is how to call Bond back to mp!!
frankly was he wrong raising the issue of mp members are less Responsive and it is fault of you and me and all other good friends here to let go mp this way , i mean every hr vigilence is needed , i mean once some one has got moderator status must feel responsibility and act fact ,and help MP to grow here.

Yes bond wasn't wrong in raising the issue, because it is something the MP staff and all the senior members had in mind and this thread proves like a good wake-up call...
Anyway, as Raj's friend and MP moderator, i have done my bit by asking him to forget it and drop the issue. Now, as kartik said, it rests on bonddonraj.
