Hi Guys,

Here's a very interesting topic based on HR.. It is called as "HUMAN ASSET WORTH"
The idea basically is to calculate the worth of the employees based on the income (performance) of the company.. Many companies are using it now-a-days to cal employee performance..

Infosys started the concept of human valuation in India. Infosys adopted the Lev & Schwartz model to compute the value of human resources.

There are other models to value human resources. The Lev & Schwartz model is more monetary-centric and is based on the likely future earnings of an employee till his retirement.

Hi Dipti,

Vengabeats has put it very beautifully and the attachment is very useful. And as far as the research practicality goes, it can be done very easily in a company..(Any co wud want to knw abt the value of its human asset).. And there's a lot of material based on the net.. Also try to get ur hand on the book by Andrew Mayo "The Human Value of Enterprise"

hi dipti i think u must have thought of some project by now ... i would like to tell u that it wil be nice if u select a project which has a practical feasibility ... what i mean is that u should get sufficient and practical information about it from a company so as to make ur project stronger .. i think sticking to the basics of hrm i.e. recruitment and selection , training and development , compensation management , employee welfare should be targetted rather than sensitive issues like industrial relations etc where in companies might hesitate to project the real picture making ur project a little weak...

Thank u so much for ur valuable response....I have selected Emotional Intelligence as my topic for project...as many organizations today condust EQ test while recruitment process...Give me some more suggestions about this topic....
