It has been in existence for 60 years, established in 1941.

It operates in 17 villages.

the present CEO of Amalsad is Mr.Hemant Naik. Amaldas undertakes

MAJOR ACTIVITIES INCLUDE :

supply of consumer goods

Motto: “if the member needs something, we shall supply it”

Output marketing.

Financial services to the members

The initiative of Computerization came from the CEO Mr.Hemant Naik.

The computerization process started in 1991.

The Amalsad was the co-operative in its vicinity to go for computerization.

Structure of hierarchy.

SOLUTION: As the plan of Computerization was initiated by chief executive itself.

Language barrier

SOLUTION: Adopting a regional language and in this case it is the Guajarati interface.



Approval from the management

SOLUTION: Element of cost issue to get the management approval.

Tackling with the human resource

SOLUTION: Eliminate fear of losing job, another approach was creating “the element of pride”, in house training to the employees
