Rich and Poor

One can consider our nation as both Rich as well as poor. It is getting richer with all its inventions, discoveries, increasing GDP, the per capita income, the more secure one feels in our nation. The growth and development that is taking in our country is at great pace which is making our country to come in forefront in many aspects, because at last it is the exposure that matters a lot.

The more exposure one gets the more one is known to the world similarly more the world gets to know the concerned. This is leads to greater interaction in terms of trade and commerce, import and export exceeds thus bringing and binding nations together. This is the most simple way to eradicate the term what is called being poor. In whatever ways one describes ones poverty, i would say it is a situation wherebvy one is unable to have access towards things and things that are not neccessarily meant to be the ones regarded as basic neccessity.

Hence this rich and poor concept is quite subjective, even if one has everything one can consider themselves as being poor, why so? well amny reasons to quote here for this dilemma. One that is considered rich can be one that is contented with whatever one possess, and the quantity of physical wealth should be not be the matter of concern.

In India, the divide between the rich and the poor is indeed an reality. On one hand India is sending spacecrafts to moon and holding commonwealth games whereas on the other hand farmers are committing suicides due to poverty and children are dying of malnutrition.

India should concentrate more on egalitarian development of the country and improve the standard of living of its citizens than try to show off to the world.

Even if we see the examples of nations like Singapore, they don't have any major international achievements but they concentrate on their citizens and are thus able to maintain a high standard of living. India should learn from such countries.

Well said, India though has lots f=of scope of improvement, should view other countries just as matter of reference and should gain something that is benefical to the country but should not immitate things because those that are benefical to those nations, not necessarily benefit our country in the same manner.
 
India is the country where rich are getting richest and poor becoming more poor. And the middle class peoples have to suffer a lot between these two. Government made many schemes for poor like BPL card but no scheme for the middle class peoples.
 
well said a country is as rich as its cultural heritage and people, a good example can be Italy which has kept its history alive over the years.
 
Now a days politics people are becoming rich other than people, they made many schemes for poor people to become themselves rich.
