Introduction
Intercultural communication in general refers to face-to-face interactions among individuals of various cultures. For example if the source and receiver both relate one symbol to a different context then the communication network can be very difficult to manage.

In intercultural communication, observing both verbal and non-verbal features will be discussed in the main body of the report. The introduction analyses some of the typical barriers of communication when dealing with people from different cultures, such as attitude, stereotypes or misinterpretations, helping the people to overcome these difficulties and deal with differences appropriately.

Some of the most common obstacles in business communication include:
· Managing people,
· Negotiating,
· Socialising
· Offering presentations to an audience.

All these concepts offer great importance to daily practice, Furthermore in intercultural communication in an organisation it is important to pay attention to the needs of comparing one's own culture with that of others involved in a business transaction, in order to overcome any problem, and giving special emphasis to some countries who are of relevant interest for the business community.

Also it is very important to be aware of how to train people to develop intercultural skills to understand the importance of cultural diversity in the business world.

When an international company is focussed on, and evaluates the intercultural differences between American and Asian cultures, there are many differences, which can be seen from a professional point of view. It is important to remember: -
“No matter where you work, what your position is whether you are a CEO of a company, a general manager or an employee, if you could manage stressful situation that often takes part in international trade, only then one is a true professional”
There are several questions relating to personal attitudes and their influence on intercultural communication in an organisation, for example can you deal with Asian customers and the differences in their behaviour appropriately, and when invited to dinner by a Moroccan customer are you equipped with knowledge of basic etiquettes? Is there any kind of basic "international business behaviour” that all people should be aware of?
The question or the point is would we be able to work for a German company? What about the American way of dealing with their work force, is it the same way an Indian work force is operated? Any businessperson should have an answer for each of these questions (but with the allowance of their own opinion).
Today life examples and situations illustrate that working abroad or in an international setting is harder than expected, and that academic employees do not seem to posses the basic accepted behaviour in some specific situations, where as ‘practically’ experienced employees can extend their knowledge further.

The intercultural context of the management process in Asia (India, China) can largely be understood as a dynamic system of interdependency relationships. The most common way Asians deal with management is based on the emphasis of importance of building relationships, on the understanding that if successful relationships are built, then business transactions will follow.

However, it should be noted that personal relationships in Asia, particularly India carry a greater significance than in the West i.e. America, given that generally Asian management is based on minimalist regulations. Since the ‘Asian’ businesses tends to be based on a family business, which is commonly dominated by one man thus have simple structures and limited capabilities. People from collectivist society like India tend to stretch the boundary of family indefinitely to locality and race as a sense of collective identity to rely on.......:bump:
