And when it’s an admission application essay you need to write to get admitted into a good B-school, then it’s like being asked to carry a dead weight. You need to take care of a bunch of issues here:
You should get started by brainstorming:
If you want to get admitted into a good B-school, you should be pointing out and underlining your most basic positive traits. Maybe put in real-life examples where you were able to show off leadership skills. It would also be of help if you underwent some training in your past that has contributed to character-building; or if you’ve faced certain trials in life which have made you a stronger person, you could mention that too; albeit in a non-boasting fashion.

Make Drafts Until You’re Done:
Once you’ve finished putting down the most important points in the essay, you should then work hard to organise them by a specific order, and insert examples wherever required. Get ready to make multiple drafts and make sure all your ideas are expressed in the correct way. Don’t get too flowery; neither should you allow yourself to be overly informal.
Divide Your Essay:
Before you think of making any sub-divisions, make three broad headlines---introduction, body and conclusion. Once you’ve figured out where to put which part, half of your work is done.
