Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram asked youngsters in the country to show the way for others who needed help.
"Early winners must pause, stop and look back who is left behind and see if they can take ten people with them at least a few feet forward. I am not saying take them all the way with you, but take them at least a few feet forward in their lives," he said.
He was speaking at a function organised by the Rajasthan Cosmo Club Foundation in Chennai, in which over 11,000 new school uniforms were distributed to students of corporation schools.
