Why we need a forum?

I am not asking why you chose this forum, but the reason why you decided to work on this online community.

People create forum because people think that creating a forum would be a good asset to have. Wats ur reason for using a forum?
 
I use forums for intellectual exchange, Learning about new opportunities, New ideas and refining the old ones, updated with current events and also making new friends and contacts..
 
At present i am a management student and now its the time for our placement so working in this kind of management related forums can make me revise my subjects and also gather extra information as well as working from home is easier than to move around
