Our elected politicians must be held to account. Their actions must be scrutinized under extremely high standards of ethics. We need public watchdogs who will keep track of campaign promises and who will begin legal process once promises are broken. We must hold these clowns to the things that they tell us they will do. We must force them to keep those promises or else lose their jobs.
I see change coming in from the judiciary. New laws can be created from the bench, and they must be created because this situation cannot continue. It will be up to ordinary citizens and dedicated lawyers to get this change happening. We have to go after these people for deliberate lying, obscuring the truth, for failing to make their law-making procedures and meetings public, for failing to provide a formal forum for citizens to make their voices heard, for failing to keep the interests of citizens at heart, for implementing policies which they specifically promised not to do during election campaigns. We must haul them before the courts and get this situation changed.
