Why isn't NANO selling?

What do you think are the reasons behind less Nano sales in the market?

Some facts:

cheapest car in the world

Nano had in fact brought India and the Indian automobile industry into highlight as no other event had dine earlier
 
Come to see of it, small cars actually are priced at a premium abroad.

I assume there is a branding failure with relation to prestige. Owning a Nano is not considered prestigious. A person would rather pay near a lakh for a pulsar but not for a Nano since owning one is ridiculed upon.

What do others think of it ?
