A great opportunity guys to list your favorite players ? The parameters by which a five-member ICC selection panel included these cricketing greats for the new award included innovation, dynamism, strength in decision-making, performing well under pressure and also executing a plan to distinction.

Starting from myself..........

I like Sachin Tendulkar ..
After serving India for more than 21 years, the Master Blaster is playing some of his finest knocks to the surprise of many. Sachin Tendulkar holds almost every batting record in cricket and still is hungry for more. The Little Master, in 169 Tests, has managed 13,837 runs with 48 centuries and 56 half-centuries. In 442 One-Day Internationals, Sachin has amassed 17,598 runs with 46 tons and as many as 93 fifties. The Indian veteran also holds the distinction of being the first batsman to score double hundreds in One-dayers. The marathon man is all but determined to win the World Cup for India, and maybe, the Favourite Player award as well.

Dhoni has captained 9 won 6. India should have won basin reserve Test. combination of conservatism and bad weather spoilt it. In the one test where Sehwag captained in NZ he was really off color as captain. In the end Gambhir had to save us. Overall India is doing a good job. Our bowling is not really potent. Let us accept that first. You need 20 wickets to win Test regardless of whether the era is batsmen oriented or bowler oriented. INdia doesn't do that on a consistent basis.
 
Hmmm Sachin for sure... I mean cricket is incomplete without him..

and also The rising star of IPL Iqbal Abdullah.....
 
My favorite player is also Sachin Tendulkar even after taking his retirement from the international cricket. He is called the God of Cricket and that is the biggest compliment for anyone who is admiring like the God. Moreover his silent nature and behavior also the reason for loving him as a player.
