The Centre looks to unveil India's first startup policy this week and there's a lot of speculation and aggregation on what the wish list of startups and investors is from the government.

ET aggregated an infographic recently for this :

I'd like to see the government setup:

1.) Create incubation spaces across all colleges and ask each college to setup an alumni startup fund. The fund can be sector agnostic however it would perform better if a medical college invested in startups around healthcare.

2.) Create special startup zones in each city. If you want to watch a movie, you go to a theatre. If you want a job, you apply to a corporate.
If you want to get your hair cut, you visit a salon. If you want to startup, where do you go?

3.) Ease the process of starting up. I did not register a company when I started management paradise. I registered it only in 2012, we started managementparadise.com in 2004. It was a proprietary organisation for 8 years before we registered a pvt ltd. Even then, we did not get the name that we wanted and had to register Management Paradise Solutions Pvt Ltd.

4.) Create Vehicles and benefits for startup investing. Stock markets are risky, startup investing is riskier. Long term profit is tax-free in stock market. What's the incentive for the wealthy to bet on a riskier game? Inceltivize the wealthy, glamorise it for the wealthy, make it easy for the wealthy to participate in the game.

What's your wish list? What would you want the government to work on? :SugarwareZ-119:
