what was ur first presentation like?

i remember my 1st presentation, i was asked to speak abt Child Labour and was given 5mins to prepare 4 it. my content was gud enuf. but my body language was terrible, i was nervous n bit shy to stand in front of 50+ but dhire dhire adat ho gayi.....

my 1st presentation was lotta funny and worst ever.........

the subject was of "efective communication-I" in 1st sem and d topic was "knowledge is power"........... I was ready but my gesture, expressions and voice was indicating dat i m nervous....... i gave it........but it was like a blunder..... will never forget ......... :SugarwareZ-034:

But steadily I got experience and prepared well with more n more presentations, extempores, vivas n skits.............. so overall i enjoyed bms internals very well till TYBMS.........

my 1st presentation was "animation"

yea was v. much tensed..n nervous...coz high expectations were set from our professors...but once i started speaking...all went smoothly...

1 thing that ive learnt from my individual experience: i present well wen i dont read much n prepare much..im good at impromptu....thats wat i discovered n followed always henceforth...

My first one was horrible. I was not prepared, hell i did not know the topic.. (if you know me, you wont be surprised).

I went there, stood there like amitabh bachan would, with one hand in my trousers, I just read from the paper notes prepared by my group.

Today I only do impromptu's , my group informs me about the topic, I read up on it whatever little i can and I see the ppt only a few minutes before the presentation. Impromptu is fun, you can pull a quick one off if you are experienced at it and the glee you get from making a presentation you never prepared for is exhilarating .

Mine was great. Enjoyed every second of it, maybe because I enjoy speaking. For the beginning, felt very nervous, but after a while, got going and more or less controlled things with some humour intertwined with my presentation! Haven't had one bad presentation ever...!

Hi........

My 1st presentation was on electronics project presentation .........
I know every thing abut my project . But on the stage i got nervousness........
I left the presentation just answering few questions.......

But that 1st presentation helped me 2 learn lots of things abut body language...

so now its easy for me 2 give presentation on any topic...

a good thread to post ma reply jus after i had given ma first presentation.
My presentation was good, since i had to submit the drafts and get it reviewed thrice by ma HOD, this helped me a lot to grab da subject to the core. thanks to ma HOD, i can talk about the topic ex tempo, anywhere. though i practised a lot, i realy had a tough time in da beginning but later got da nerves to look at d crowd and speak wit guts. hope i polish ma skills.

i was very nervous...cant believe i was there in front of so many ppl giving a formal presentation but got used to it after certain point of time the reason is self-belief and confidence

it was fun watching me....as my friends told me after....i was bit nervous but then too managed to complete it down, people laughed at my jokes...yes i said that too in between my 1st presentation......i still can rememer those memories

mine first one was on "purple cow"

just a phrase means stand out of crowd, don't be like hundred others, be creative, be innovative.

it was great. my prof. was too impress with other content and our presentation and most amazing was the response i got from the class. they were listening to whole presentation word by word.

that was my first presentation.

OMG my first presentation...........
:SugarwareZ-182:
i was in bms where i had to present on leadership skills on business maharajas.
but i was not been able to utter a few words looking at the crowd(my own friends). i started off..............forgot in between.............took out my write-up and began to read out in a very fluent way. and guess what i had been appreciated....Reason : content was good

well my first presentation was given by our ec prof...he had told us to choose any topic we are comfortable with..we chose the topic of education sector in india..
in the group ..we were 6 people ..and i was supposed to conclude the presentation..
when the 1st person strted speakin..i was relaxed..then people strted finishing off their parts very quickly..
and finally it was my turn to speak..i actually forgot everything i had learnt..and i went onto an impromtu mode...which worked really fine for me...and it was quite appreciated by all...

My first speech was on my Farewell day at School and I was picked out of randomly to speak about my experiences at St. Francis High School, Vasai.. It was a total disaster, I started well then just lost track of words and was just staring blank eyed at the people... it was so embarassing at that time. However, that first public speech (now being a disaster) taught me how to be prepared for the next public interaction...
Now that fear has gone and I look forward to the presentations...
