The Entrance Test for P.G. Diploma in Journalism will comprise of two parts- Part-A &
Part-B.
Part-A will consist of 40 objective type multiple choice questions related to
General knowledge & Current Affairs, Media, History of Hindi Journalism, Hindi
Language, Newspaper & Magazines, Contemporary National and International
Events, Radio& Television, Popular Culture & awareness of political Scenario.
Each Question contains one mark. There will be negative marking in Part-A with
a weightage of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
Part-B will consist of Subjective type descriptive Questions with weightage of 60
marks consisting of 5 Questions of 6 marks each and a Questions of 10 marks
each. Questions will be based on History of Hindi journalism. History of Radio &
Television in India, General knowledge & Current Affairs, Media, Literary,
Social & Cultural issues. Contemporary National and International Events.
