All the definitions I would be giving would not be subject to any legal cases nor can they be testified in any7 court of law.

Hypothesis : an agenda which is put forward without any factual proof or experimentation . it is subject to anyones contradiction and can be nullified by counter argument .it is a particular persons view that he puts forward .

Theory : it is a hypothesis that has been agreed upon by a committee although there might not be substantial proof for it but since it has been approved by a panel it can be used for as a base for further hypothesis and other ideas

Fundamental : it is a tried n tested base of facts that have been approved by a committee and a panel and these are used as a base stone for further experiments and theories and hypothesis

This is wat is my idea.

Hey Buddy,

As per MY point-of View, A hypothesis is an attempt to explain phenomena. It is a proposal, a guess used to understand and/or predict something. A theory is the result of testing a hypothesis and developing an explanation that is assumed to be true about something. A theory replaces the hypothesis after testing confirms the hypothesis, or the hypothesis is modified and tested again until predictable results occur.

So, a person might make an observation and immediately form a hypothesis about why something happens the way it does. He or she then tests the hypothesis, modifies it if necessary, and eventually develops a theory. The hypothesis might change significantly as testing occurs. A hypothesis can be right or wrong, but a theory is supposed to be true based upon the scientific method. So, when a hypothesis has been verified to be true, it becomes a theory.
