Global strategy: A global strategy is a strategy which deals with strategic issues across national borders, and cultures. By ‘global’ we do not necessarily mean ‘everywhere’ or necessarily ‘everything’. A global strategy may well focus just on a subset of issues, including: market, product development, technology, distribution, organisation, finance, acquisitions and alliances (Bartlett and Ghoshal 1984; Yip 1992).
