Life is so precious, given only once so take care of your body by every ounce”.

AIDS is acquired immunodeficiency syndrome where the body’s defense mechanism breaks down. Body’s ability to protect itself from the common ailments like cough, cold diarrhea, flu and other infection is minimized. Increasing number of babies is born with the Aid’s virus worldwide and many millions of children are orphaned by it. At this moment the only effective weapon against the spread of Aid’s is public education. This is why every person in every country should know how to avoid getting and spreading the Aids virus.

For quite sometime the global and popular understanding was that the Aids affect only promiscuous people. However when people who no sexual contact had started getting affected that the world realized the various ways in which the disease can be transmitted. The causes are many and varied. The nuclear families in lack of family support often fuels sexual promiscuity and addiction problem in the young. In the nuclear families adults are lonelier; there is no erosion of values at home for the children. In the absence of meaningful dialogue or emotional support from parents the young seek refuge among peer and take to addiction or sexual experimentation at an early age. With the large number of adults getting infected with this infection there is an urgent need for intervention. The ideal preventive measure with regard to sexual transmission of HIV is education in the values of life, love and sexuality.

A corporate thinking body is required in order to find an answer. Only a corporate effort can halt the situation, it involves policy makers from all walks of life.
