Indian multinational, Videocon Group's chairman Venugopal Dhoot has been awarded the Elcina Electronics Man of the Year, 2005-06.
Dhoot had been chosen for the honour for his outstanding initiatives to make India self reliant in hardwares and consumer electronics, Elcina president Vinod Sharma said while presenting the award last evening.
Gurgaon based Napino Auto and Electronics Ltd won the Business Excellence Award for the year 2005-06, while Elcina award for Excellence in Exports went to Pune's Amphenol Interconnect India
