VelocITa @ Passion in IMT Ghaziabad

NEW DELHI — Learn while playing — seems to be the mantra — as IMT Ghaziabadorganized brainstorming sessions that required ‘corporate big-wigs of tomorrow’ find solutions for some of the existing problems of the corporate world. The leading business school conducted theme-specific quiz where teams from various B schools participated and suggested ideas to solve few complex issues that the business community face today.

The themes of the quiz thrown under the annual fest ‘Passion’ were chosen after careful and close observation of the market today. While ‘VelocITa’ tested students’ prowess to solve real life problems by suggesting the apt usage of information technology, ‘Paramarsh’ necessitated budding managers to sharpen their cognitive skills by attempting to find workable solution for the existing problems of the corporate houses.

To make the recipe more challenging and interesting, the organizers had carefully selected ‘ready-to-take-on-the-challenge’ teams by conducting an online test to test the caliber of respective team members, who are currently pursuing management courses across the country. By allowing more than one team from a college, the organizers did not take away the fair chance from students to show their mettle to solve real-life issues.

VelocITa, was designed keeping in mind the application of information technology in diverse sectors. IT, now, has become the building block for socioeconomic development and nations around the world are attempting to capitalize on the capabilities of this technology to support planning, development, and growth processes.
