The School of Technology -- Four Degrees Offer the Latest in Information Technology Education
The School of Technology updated its degree offerings beginning in the fall of 2004. To stay current with the latest technological trends, the school continually evaluates and updates degree programs to ensure their relevance to the workplace. The resulting four new degree programs were designed in alliance with Bay Area business and technology experts to reflect the convergence taking place in information technology and today's enterprises. These degrees deliver a balance of a solid understanding in technical areas with a foundation in business and management competencies.
The four new degree programs are available to undergraduate and graduate students and are described in full below. You may also access them from the right-hand-side navigation.
Also Offered are certificates on the undergraduate and graduate level as well as concentrations in business degree programs.
"During the '90s businesses threw technology at problems as if it were the ultimate solution. The CIOs now have to be business strategists and not just 'technology dispensers.' Higher education programs need to address this major shift. As a member of the Advisory Board for Information Technology at Golden Gate University, I am pleased with their innovative technology degrees, such as the MS in information technology, that respond well to the changing needs of the IT enterprise. The approach is very comprehensive, addresses real subject matter and prepares students for change, innovation and leadership."
