It operates in two segments -- home and personal care products such as soaps, detergents, oral care products, hair care products, skin care products, cosmetics, deodorants and fragrances, and food and beverages such as tea, coffee, wheat flour, salt, ice creams and culinary products. With a turnover of over US$ 2200 million in 2003, HLL employs over 40,000 people across the country.
