To provide an efficient platform to students aiming for admission to engineering, medical and dental colleges, ERA (Educational Rating and Assessment) Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, launched its assessment platform “Uni-GAUGE” in November 2014.The new website for Uni-GAUGE exams went live on 16th September 2015.
“The launch of the new website, www.unigauge.com, which offers quick and easy access to essential information on Uni-GAUGE exams, is part of ERA’s ongoing efforts to enhance the availability of information and ease of use to student community” says Mr. B.N.Subramanya, CEO, ERA Foundation. Students can easily navigate to the applicable sections and resources within the site. Each page provides detailed information on the relevant exam.
Uni-GAUGE is a pan-India, computer-aided assessment platform. ERA Foundation partners with universities to offer them several benefits including improve their ability to access students across the country, technology enabled entrance test and segregate entrance evaluation and admission processes.
Uni-GAUGE enables students to apply to multiple universities through a single gateway. In the current scenario, students apply to many universities writing different entrance examinations. Students undergo undue stress in their race to prepare for numerous entrance exams and thereby pursue their academics at their Dream University /institution. Through the Uni-GAUGE platform, ERA Foundation aims to enable students to apply to several universities and institutions through a single entrance exam.
Presently the Uni-GAUGE line of exams includes;
· Uni-GAUGE EMeD for admission to B.Tech/MBBS and BDS
· Uni-GAUGE PGMD for admission to MD,MS and MDS
· Uni-GAUGE PGTech for admission to M.E and M.Tech
As of now, ERA Foundation has joined hands with M S Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Reva University, Sri Devraj Urs University at Kolar, Manav Rachna University at Faridabad, KL University at Guntur, Saveetha University, Karpagam University, Periyar Maniammai University, Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya( SCSVMV )University. Many more universities are slated to join the Uni-GAUGE platform shortly. The partner universities will accept Uni-GAUGE scores as one of the criteria for admission. However, they will have complete autonomy on their admission process.
