Unfair Game with Hockey Players

hey guys we agree dat cricket is are second religion,but are national game hockey dnt u feel dere is injustice done wid hockey players in all term such as promoting, payment,practise, etc

it is ver ymuch ttrue that "angrej chale gaye aulad chod gaye......
circket originated in england......and hockey in india....but still hockey is treated as if it is the sautela beta of the mother nation ........there are no promotional strategies used foer the hockey team....
so who will play widout motivation and encouragment???????

its true... infact question is not just about hockey but its about all other games.
Cricket today is supported and promoted more then any other game because of money interests of politicians, sponsors and media.

We never celebrated the Nehru cup win in hockey just as we celebrated T20 world cup for India. This clearly shows injustice not just between two games but players as well.

Moreover, less support in terms of finance or proper infrastructure to play or providing the team with basic modern hockey equipment had discouraged the hockey players themselves.

In India, we support cricket and we do not support sports (majority of us may not be knowing the rules of the other games).

whatever is.cricket is promoted more than anythoing else.even media supports a greater footage of cricket.we know the current captain of vricket team but less people know about hockey. but after chak de...........hockey got a bit popularised as we had forgotten hockey.it gave us a reminder for our national game
 
We people are bombarded by the media with cricket so obviously we think of only cricket and forget other sports.
