Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology Undergraduate Entrance Test B. Tech (SMIT UGET B. TECH B. Tech) is an entrance test conducted by the government of Sikkim. Candidates who are eligible can apply for this exam. More seats are reserved for candidates from Sikkim and Manipal. But there are seats reserved for students from other states.
Structure of SMIT UGET B. TECH
There will be a total of two hundred and forty questions. Sixty questions each from physics and chemistry, eighty questions from mathematics and rest of the questions from General English & General Aptitude. The questions will be in the multiple choice pattern. Duration of the exam will be about one fifty hours.

Eligibility Criteria
All candidates who have a 10+2 certificate can apply. But the candidate should have studied physics, chemistry and mathematics in the 10+2 level. All the candidates applying should have passed the exam. Students now appearing the 10+2 exam can also apply for the Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology Undergraduate Entrance Test. candidates should have a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
How to Apply?
Application forms are available from the Sikkim Manipal University. These application forms are also available from the general post offices in various parts of our country. Candidate registering through online are asked to send a demand draft in favour of Director, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Majitar, Rangpo- 737132.
DD of Rs one thousand one hundred and fifty should be send to the respective officer. Candidates submitting offline forms need only to Rs seven hundred and fifty.
How to fill the Form?
Fill the form very carefully. Because all the data’s entered will be scanned by the computer. English is the only language to be used for filling the form. Not more than one number or alphabet should be written in each square box available in the form. Candidates should attach Xerox copies of the pass certificates. Candidate should mention his / her name and application number behind the demand draft.
