ULIP plans baned by SEBI!!

sebi is banned ulip plans offer by some private companies....why only some companies?? and what will be the effect of this ban on insurance industry??

its not accepted by IRDA, SEBi has the rights to regulate only securities but not insurance... and IRDA will have a say on that,..

IRDA has a greater say on it.... registration is a minor issue, i hope it gets resolved before adversly hitting the image of already apprehention struck private insurers.

I think its better to concentrate on why some companies are banned rather than what companies are banned or who is having authority for these insurance companies.
