Padmabhushan Shri Arvind Panagariya, Vice Chairman, Niti Aayog said, "I am delighted to be at such a valuable conference held by MNIT and I am honoured to be part of such an interaction. MNIT has ever since been the epitome of providing quality education to it's students and its is great pleasure for me to interact with such talent. My focus while providing the lecture today was to highlight various techniques that are used by countries who are world leaders across and the growth that they have achieved in just three decades. We need to compare ourselves in three most important areas which are agriculture, manufacturing and services since the major portion of our GDP till date still relies on agriculture. We are directly compared with China and we have been able to adopt various techniques which are adopted by the Chinese manufacturers in terms of economies which ideally make manufacturing easier and cheaper. We also need to focus on innovating on the services segment which will create better employment opportunities for the people of the country. All in all I would like to sum up that we have seen our country grow; and while we compare ourselves with the growth of other countries we should also start comparing ourselves to the past and what we are today. Thus transformation can only be acquired by creating employment opportunities for our own people."

Prof. IK Bhatt, Director, Malaviya National Institute of Technology said, "We are delighted to invite such an eminent personality to our campus. This conference was extremely informative for students and the academicians. We are delighted to know that many students actually clarified their concepts and factual information which was provided by Padma Bhushan Shri Arvind Panagariya. I would also be very greatful to Padma Bhushan Shri Arvind Panagariya to provide such practical knowledge which will also trigger their thought processes in looking at the broader picture on today's economic condition and the growth prospects in areas such as agriculture, services and manufacturing. We would like to invite Shri Arvind Panagariya time and again to share his valuable insights with our students."
