Trains Late - Common Scene During Rains

Mumbai's local trains are running half an hour late since early Saturday morning. A technical snag on the Western Railway line left commuters stranded on various stations between Borivali and Churchgate.

The Western Railway (WR) administration recently asked motormen to reduce the speed of trains. But the move has compounded the problems of commuters. More than 40 trains have been cancelled in the past three days, leaving commuters with no option but to travel in overcrowded trains. The order has also delayed services with most trains running late by about 15 minutes.

trains running late by an hour or so seems to be a common scenario in Mumbai...i would like to know your say in this aspect ...

Every year happens like this only. Rain water gets collected on roads, railway lines ,etc but no one is to take care of that.
 
Monsoon can affect public transportation and it can affect your travel plans. Trains can run late of schedule; some train services might be cancelled due to flooding, nowdays flights are also been affected by rain
