I have come across this article which catches the attention of most of the ppl who dream of landing in US.Recently US has been criticised for adopting some protectionist measures of raising the visa fees for the most sought after H1-B visa.H1-B visa is the most sought visa by the IT companies to send their employees to work in US for 2-3 yrs.So in recent years IT companies have booked these visas in herds and the visa application could be easily overbooked minutes after the counter opens. But after recession, US has raised the fees for this visa in order to curb the no.of immigrants entering the country. As a result Indian IT companies requested to reduce the fees for H1-B visa.In the midst of this, the above article really serves the purpose the US is looking for. This new Visa will encourage entrepreuners who have an idea and got an investor nod to travel to US to stay and create jobs there for atleast 2 years. This is an encouraging stuff. The time of Software Engineers have gone and now this is the time for the ppl who have ideas.I'm sure there are loads of investors in US waiting to invest in the next path-breaking idea. So,ppl who have an idea and ready to take the enterprenurial journey, US is ready to welcome you.

Uncle Sam is now ready to welcome Enterpreneurs inplace of S/w Engineers.

What do you think about this visa?

Under option three, immigrant entrepreneurs living outside the US would be eligible to apply for a StartUp Visa if they have controlling interest of a company in a foreign country that has generated, during the most recent 12-month period, not less than $100,000 in revenue from sales in the US.

After two years, their business must have created three new jobs and raised not less than $100,000 in additional capital investment or generate not less than $100,000 in revenue.
I really like this option .. just 45 lakh Rs investment will guarantee a h1b visa ;) . How difficult is it to incorporate a company in USA or open a branch there? Any idea?

I think India instead of migrating Indian brains to developed country should sustain them and exploit them for India's development.
In India, brain drain is more because educated individuals are emigrating for higher wages and better opportunities. It has been in our consciousness since 30 years and many bright youngsters have emigrated mainly to US from early 1960s onwards including a large fraction of the graduating class at IITs in India.
