The Roadmap for Village-progress & progress-report

The election season is on and this time, it promises still more sparkles than earlier. The ‘warring sides’ are discussing ‘development-issue’ with the commercial news media also putting in full-focus; quite a change from the past. We have ‘jobs’, ‘farms’, agri-prices, fuel-prices, health-care, cattle-care, potable water, electricity and industry amongst some of things being discussed. The commercial news media again supporting in the belief that it is ‘them’ setting the ‘agenda’. This wasn’t so for many-many years when the norm was ‘Jati kabhi jati nahi’ and even the Netas in then ‘opposition’ succumbing to it. Now the ‘era’ seems to be over, though we may still have Neta-hood figments believing in some or other religion based agglomeration of people/voters. Although, ‘Game’ appreciates those considerable ‘challengers’ to this line of thought, but it should be recognized that good fragments still believe in Jati counter for religion and a large chunk of the so called ‘opposition’ Netas also actively involved in this Religion ‘Game’ for their political nirvana as well. The other aspects being voiced is around Nepotism and acceptance of ‘Rajas/Princes’ syndrome in political/public life. All-in-all, a tussle between Religious fanaticism, weakened Caste-ism and Nepotism, and that’s dubbed as tussle between ideologies with least preference for any economic rationale by any Neta or Party. If at all any economic idea is discussed, that’s only the ‘socialist/leftist model’ that’s declined substantially almost everywhere else. The basic challenge remain the same for all Netas, how to perch themselves on top in a highly diverse nation.

The belief of the Netadom on a ‘Rational Human Being’ is a short shrift. This is because of past experience or in a belief that a Rational Human being won’t accept leadership (especially their’s), but would rather be leader himself. With the commercial news media following the same stance and making a taboo out of a ‘questioning social media’, the Netas draw a lot of respite. In fact quite a few put their own stooges here to raise ‘questions’ on others, while wanting to escape away from any questions, themselves. Hence, you get phrases like Urban Naxals coined and there might be a few over-aggressive souls as well here. It may also be noted that nearly no action has taken place or even demanded by any seriousness by ‘opposition’ on people spreading ‘hate videos’, ‘porn’, ‘violation of copyrights’ etc. but almost a barrage of verbal fist-raising on what they perceive as the ‘other-side of politics’ on social media and same being the case for Netas on the ruling side. In fact in all this, ‘Development and Jobs’ have become an undeniable ‘key issues’ for all Netas and parties and the ‘no one in the media or politics’ can claim any credit for the same, but still ‘social media’ seems to be a ‘culprit’ with media-workers and political-workers frequently voicing the outrage about it. There are questions and counter-questions on ‘development’ and about the ‘missing-jobs’ for the youth, farm-prices with a lot of center and state level statistics. But the improvement or deterioration in local schools or health-center or ration-shops or streets/sanitation or soil-health/irrigation, electric-supply etc. is seldom discussed. In fact ‘role’ for youth and ‘policy’ to channelize these deliveries are far away from thoughts of any party/Neta or Media-worker. This is because socialist would raise plank to ‘corrupt this’ for ‘free’ and rightist would be unable to argue in favour for jobs while succumbing to government-jobs/subsidy mantra themselves. Not one party or Neta or for that matter media-worker is able to talk about this while pursuing their goals in politics.

I have said previously that Netas, Commercial Media and their supporters aren’t afraid of the churn amongst political Netas that the electoral round is expected to bring-forth (http://www.managementparadise.com/article/10004/growth-of-the-game-cult ). The politically naïve is about to realize the deepening of the Second Flush that has been ensued, but the more mature ones will start planning for the Third one (http://www.managementparadise.com/article/9755/realigning-amongst-secular-political-groups ). Presently, the ‘Game’ would be more about convincing voters/public about the Neta/party/coalition being a lesser nuisance and better for ‘development/jobs’ relative to the ‘other-side’. This calls for reigning of the nuisance Netas in own party while exposing/unleashing of the nuisance Netas on the ‘other-side’. Quite a few Netas in our fast-changing democratic polity seem to have realized this already, for a change. Let the ‘Game’ evolve…..

The Roadmap for Village Progress & Progress Report

In the quest for sustainable development and inclusive growth, outlining a comprehensive roadmap for village progress is essential. This roadmap serves as a strategic guide, detailing the steps and milestones needed to transform villages into thriving communities. The primary focus areas include infrastructure development, economic empowerment, social welfare, and environmental sustainability. Infrastructure development, such as building roads, schools, and healthcare facilities, is the foundation upon which all other progress is built. These improvements ensure that villagers have access to basic services and can connect more easily with the outside world, enhancing their quality of life and economic opportunities.

Economic empowerment is another critical component, aiming to create local jobs and stimulate entrepreneurship. This can be achieved through agricultural improvements, the introduction of new technologies, and the establishment of small and medium-sized enterprises. By fostering a robust local economy, villagers can achieve financial stability and reduce dependency on external aid. Social welfare initiatives, such as education and health programs, are also vital. These programs ensure that all members of the community, especially the vulnerable, have the support they need to thrive. Providing quality education and healthcare can lead to a more skilled and healthy workforce, which is crucial for long-term development.

Environmental sustainability is equally important, as it ensures that the village's progress does not come at the cost of its natural resources. Implementing eco-friendly practices, such as waste management and renewable energy projects, can protect the environment and promote a greener future. Regular progress reports are essential to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of these initiatives. These reports should detail the achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement, providing a transparent and accountable mechanism for stakeholders to engage with the development process. By maintaining a clear and structured roadmap and diligently reporting progress, villages can achieve sustainable and equitable growth, ultimately transforming into vibrant and resilient communities.
