The Reason for the Rise of U.S[/b]
America (officially United States of America) is one of the newest civilizations of the World. Born in 1776 out of a bunch of colonial territories of Europe, it is one country which has challenged and conquered Global Business using its Wit and Business Ways. Following the dynamic processes of capitalism it has turned the world Multi-polar with one Super Power – America. Today Globalization has become synonymous to Americanization all thanks to the liking for the American culture in the whole world.
Innovations in America[/b]
Innovation and America are synonymous—can-do spirit, melting pot, hybrid vigor, two guys in a garage, streets paved with gold, a person from humble beginnings becomes the richest man in the world, one small step for man, and one global Internet for Mankind. All these stand testimony to America’s affair with innovation and success.
Attracting a lot of global students proved out to be a good thing as when America melted those students into the ‘American pot of gold’, by offering them a H-1B visas, they got those precious brains to innovate and bring glory back to America.
What works for America?[/b]
America prides itself in producing some of the world’s greatest innovators, and has a pretty darn good track record: Steve Jobs, Edison, Tesla, the Wright Brothers, Ford. The list goes on. What is it about American society that seems to produce such great and innovative technological thinkers?
According to Paul J.H. Shoemaker, research director at the Mack Center for Technological Innovation, the largest gains in business come from “daring innovations that challenge the paradigm and the organization.” And these are exactly the kinds of challenges the U.S. creates and excels in.
As President John F. Kennedy (in 1961) committed the nation to the ambitious goal of landing a man on the moon by the end of the decade, The American scientists, engineers, and astronauts, all of them bold risk takers and doers, started working day and night designing, testing, and flying the Mercury, Gemini, and then Apollo spacecraft. New propulsion, communications, and computer systems were developed; materials to withstand the pressure and heat of flight; life-support systems; guidance and control systems; and much more. Six months before the deadline JFK had set, I along with a billion other people around the globe watched as Neil Armstrong jumped backward from the landing pad of the LEM onto the moon.
Detroit Story
Detroit is a city of big ideas and big accomplishments. The city known as ‘Automobile Hub’ of the world is the birth place of ‘Assembly line’—which became the key not just to unprecedented middle-class prosperity, but to the Allies’ victory in World War II. It’s the home of world-changing inventions such as the refrigerated railroad car, the automatic traffic light (the first one was installed at the corner of Woodward and Michigan in downtown Detroit in 1920), the mechanical clamping mop, guerilla marketing, techno and rap music.

Coca- Cola symbolizes America world over. So does Pepsi… Both claiming Duopoly are products of American Innovation and its marketing style. The prototype Coca-Cola recipe was formulated at the Eagle Drug and Chemical Company, a drugstore in Columbus, Georgia by John Pemberton, originally as a coca wine called Pemberton's French Wine Coca.

The United States has long led the world in medical innovation, and its skill at developing lifesaving drugs and devices produces enormous economic value. In a 2011 report prepared for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, Batelle Technology, a research organization, estimates that the biopharmaceutical sector pumps more than $917 billion into the American economy annually and employs more than 674,000 workers. Biopharmaceuticals are second only to aerospace products as the nation's leading export. And new therapies for everything from cancer to depression enable Americans (and people all over the world) to live longer, more productive lives.

American Film Motion Picture Industry (a.k.a. HOLLYWOOD) is the largest movie making industry in the world in terms of revenues. Due to its fame and cultural identity as the historical center of movie studios and movie stars, the word Hollywood is often used as a metonym of American cinema. Its is considered the greatest tool of Globalization in the World.

Looking at the enrollment in American science and technology universities in the past decade, there has been an overwhelming increase in the ‘foreign student population’. Harvard, Stanford, Yale, MIT, Princeton, and a host of other top-ranked universities from coast to coast, America leads the international push for higher education. According to National Public Radio, there are currently 624,000 foreign students at colleges in the U.S. America attracts a lot of foreign scientists and innovators who thus get excellent conditions to create and make things happen.

It used technology and revolutionized the way people do things.“, Isaac Merritt Singer, who invented the first commercially successful sewing machine. The real benefit to society was that he was the first person to sell to women, because prior to this it was assumed that women couldn't operate machinery. According to Business Week’s most innovative companies of the world, out of top 50, 22 are U.S based. The top four are U.S companies i.e Apple, Google, Microsoft and IBM.

According to Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), out of top 100 research institutes 48 are in United States alone. And Harvard University is the at no. 1 and out of top 10, seven universities are from U.S The United States produces close to 42000 PhD’s which is second only to China. In terms of spending on Research and Development, U.S spend 2.7% of it’s G.D.P or 405.3 billion dollars This figure is more than combined spendings of the next four countries on the list.

America have financial resources and provides material and non-material conditions for scientists and innovators to live and create undisturbed. That means that they provide scientists with enough financial resources as to not bother with petty things like paying bills, food, place to live, cars, different commodities, children's schools or education, etc. which on the other hand leaves enough time for those people to concentrate solely on the innovative thought process and its realization.
