The India International Animation and Cartoon Film Festival (IIACFF) is going to be held in the month of October (1st-5th) in New Delhi. This festival is one of its kinds as we rarely have events which provide a platform for the cartoonists and animators to showcase their talent. Renowned actor Mr. Javed Jaffery is the brand ambassador for IIACFF.
There are more than 350 animation institutes scattered all over India, but there are rarely any Animation Film Festival in our calendars, to bridge this gap this festival is being organized. IIACFF aims to change the scenario of the animation industry and the students associated with cartoon and animation in India. The festival will bring together the filmmakers and other television artists who specialize in animation and visual effects in movies.
It will create a platform for the students to showcase their work in front of the audiences and eminent jury members comprising of both international and national figures associated with cartoon and animation. The festival will emphasize on youth and will try to cater to school student’s interest in the field of animation. The festival will also recognize the efforts of different participants in various categories.
The five day festival will also be marked by panel discussion by eminent animators, movie directors and a quiz event. India International Animation and Cartoon Film Festival will also encourage the parents to attend and gain knowledge about animation and its industry.
The event will boost the animation industry of India and will also create a platform for the Indian students where they can compete with students from abroad through animation films. The best films selected by the eminent jury will be recognized and awarded.
IIACFF is an event to look out for as India has not witnessed such an event where encouragement and a proper platform are being provided to the budding cartoonists and animators. It will definitely create a new outlook of the people towards this industry and will act as a booster for many youngsters to become a part of the cartoon and animation industry and explore this art to the core.
