This clarifies the fact no glory or success can be achieved without toil....I mean, if we wish to garner fame in the future then we have to start working today, in that sense, maybe the glory of tomorrow does have its basis in the toil of today...
I wouldn't like to call it misery,because if you really believe in something and wish to achieve something be really badly then you should take it up as a challenge rather than calling it a misery....if one wishes to achieve a goal then it should be something he enjoys, something where he cheerfully toils to achieve the ends.
if the toil is simple drudgery to him, then that goal is not worth achieving.
