New Delhi, July 15, 2015
Teleperformance, the the global leader in outsourced multichannel customer experience management, has announced that its India operations have been ranked Number One in the BPO industry in the 'Great Place To Work 2015' study.
Great Place to Work Institute conducted this study for 2015 in which over 700 companies from 20 industry segments participated.
Teleperformance began its India operations in Gurgaon nearly 15 years ago, and supports global clients in the Telecom, Technology, Logistics, Consumer Goods and eCommerce verticals. The firm has established several initiatives for engaging with its employees, referred to as Teleperformers, ranging from extensive training of over six weeks a year, ample growth opportunities for its team and 'Citizen of the World' social responsibility programs.
Teleperformance India's path-breaking move of setting up operations in non-metro cities like Jaipur and Indore was driven by its desire to offer jobs to youth closer to their home towns. This strategic move besides marrying the sensitivity of minimising movement of talent away from home while providing them the comfort of less travel time to work gives customers the benefit of higher productivity.
This recognition validates Teleperformance India's commitment to creating workplace excellence based on talent development practices and values of putting people ahead of everything else. Teleperformance leaders are invited members of the 'Best Employers Club', a forum to share best practices in nurturing a great people culture.

"Teleperformance has created a competitive advantage for themselves by engaging the hearts, minds and hands of its people, energizing employees by creating an environment of trust where people are proud of the job they do and enjoy the company of their colleagues,"[/b] says Prasenjit Bhattacharya, CEO, Great Place to Work(R) Institute, India.
